Dr. E. J. Jewell
Hello! My name is EJ Jewell, and I recently earned my veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in England — yes, that included plenty of time working with sheep!
During veterinary school, and especially while working alongside farm veterinarians in the English countryside, my love for livestock has grown into a true passion. Now, I’m thrilled to return home to Tennessee and begin my career in mixed animal practice.
I was born and raised on my family’s farm in Franklin, TN, and after four years abroad, I’m so excited to be back. I look forward to getting to know all of you — and your dogs, cows, cats, sheep, goats, chickens, and more!
I’m truly over the moon to be joining the incredible team here at Rock-N-Country. During my time at the clinic while in veterinary school, I learned so much from this talented group, and I know I have big shoes to fill. I can’t wait to get started!
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me soaking up sunny days on the river with family and friends, exploring with my dog Sadie, or hunting down the next great sweet treat. And what am I most excited about now that I’m back in Tennessee Cheering on the Vols — in person!
